Claudio joined the Baastel affiliate expert team in 2017. He brings to Baastel more than 20 years of experience in international development working for the World Bank Group (IBRD/IEG/IFC), Global Environment Facility, and the Organization of American States. He has designed, managed, monitored, and evaluated projects, programs, policies, and institutions with public and private sector clients and in diverse sectors of development (infrastructure, environment, climate change, natural resources). Claudio started his career as a scientist and expert, assessing and developing actions to adapt to climate change impacts in particular on coastal areas and small island states. He is originally from Uruguay and has worked around the world.
