Baastel provides project and program planning and design services including needs assessment, strategic analysis, gender analysis, proposal development, theory of change facilitation, risk assessment, and more.
In delivering design services to our clients, including UN agencies and bilateral donors, we use participatory processes to build solid, well-structured projects. We have provided design services to many projects supported by international funds, in particular in the environmental sector (Global Environment Facility, Green Climate Fund, and others).
Baastel also supports governments and international organizations in conducting policy analysis and policy development in various domains, reviewing concepts and objectives, regulatory frameworks, implementation issues, and impacts, and providing assessments and options.
With our wide network of sector and regional experts and our core capacities in rigorous quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis we also develop, coordinate, and support applied research. Our commitment to accessible communication and reporting helps stakeholders make the best use of reliable and practical evidence to support their decision-making.
